LiveStreaming provides visual coverage of an event as it is happening. Anyone with an internet connection, a computer or mobile phone and the correct link can witness the event. We unite people from across the country or around the world and enable them to share in your event as it is happening. We are proud to provide a service that enables people living far away or prevented from being there in person to attend key life-moments and witness something they would otherwise miss out on.

We are professional, experienced and good at what we do. Our equipment is state of the art. We use low-light 4k cameras downsampled to HD for sharp and colour rich streaming. We include redundancy in the event of internet loss or power failure. We use professional sound equipment and capture singers & musicians in stereo. We provide a dedicated webpage with live support for viewers encountering technical difficulties. We offer a guestbook and the ability for viewers to download an Order of Service booklet or program. 

Your webpage will host a recording of the LiveStream and can be viewed for one month after the event. Our principal has been trained in documentary film production at AFTRS, has years of experience shooting footage in some remote locations around the world and has been supplying services to the funeral industry for many decades. We operate unobtrusively and respectfully.

Not much if there is a reliable internet connection at both ends of the stream. Studio20 LiveStream uses redundant battery backups and a triple bonded cellular modem spread across three networks, Telstra, Optus and Vodafone. This currently offers the most reliable data connection. 

We offer a test page for viewers to check they are able to receive a LiveStream and identify potential problems before the broadcast begins. A recording of the LiveStream is always made locally and posted within a few hours if there is an interruption because of compromised internet quality or availability. If a viewer encounters issues receiving our LiveStream we provide a troubleshooting guide and offer live technical support during each stream if required.

That’s right. A LiveStream can be viewed live from almost anywhere where there is a reliable internet connection. However, there are a few caveats. Some hotels, airlines and ships have limited bandwidth particularly when a large number of people use the service simultaneously. There maybe issues viewing a LiveStream in China. The Great Firewall, employed as a system of internet censorship, may block some content and limit access to international streams and videos. We can provide other options in this case.

It is appreciated if we are provided with as much notice as possible. Our preparation begins as soon as we are booked. We will typically accept bookings many months in advance. For funerals which can be sometimes unexpected and involve a client organising a lot of things very quickly, we prefer to be booked at least 48 hours in advance. 

Studio20 LiveStreams are as reliable as the internet connections that are available to us and the end viewers. The rollout of NBN infrastructure, particularly in country locations, has increased the reliability and speed of connections many fold. On the occasion where there no internet availability at a venue we will record the event and upload it, usually within a few hours, to the page where the LiveStream was to made available.

A download speed of at least 5-6 MB/s is recommended for a viewer’s network connection.

We provide LiveStreaming services from almost any venue or location. Additionally we provide a service to produce slideshow tribute videos from your photos and music, and we provide audio-visual overflow solutions where a church or chapel may be too small to the number of people attending.

Our standard LiveStream service operates with three 4k-cameras downsampled to HD for the stream. We capture sound using professional audio equipment and if there a singers or musicians present they are captured in stereo. We can also film from a drone subject to CASA rules and regulations. 

Clients are provided with a private webpage from which programs or service booklets can be downloaded and a guestbook is available for visitors to leave a record of their attendance and leave a message if they desire.

We can broadcast a LiveStream from any place that has a reliable internet connection. Our bonded cellular modem offers the most reliable connection by sharing the LiveStream signal across several telecommunication accounts (Telstra, Optus & Vodafone). The signal is reconstituted before it is sent out to viewers. 

If the integrity of the internet is compromised we will notify viewers and, because we record all LiveStreams locally, we can upload the recording to the LiveStream page within hours.

Each LiveStream is made available to viewers on a private page which cannot be indexed by search engines. This means only those with the page address (the URL) can access the page, watch the stream, download any material made available on the page or read guestbook messages.

Some clients freely publish the LiveStream page address whilst others chose to distribute it privately. When requested we can password protect a page to add another layer of privacy. In this case viewers will need both the page address (URL) and the password to view the LiveStream.

Viewers who are not computer or mobile-phone savvy are advised to have someone assist them setting up for the LiveStream. It is a good idea to run our Test Video beforehand and allow enough time to verify that everything is working as it should.
