We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are. (Anais Nin)
Whenever we film our aim is to entertain, educate and bring about incremental change that contributes positively and peacefully to a better world.
Studio20 has several in-house 4k-cameras, lighting, sound, editing and associated equipment, together with the necessary skills and expertise to bring it all together.  We can film corporate explainers, training films, stories for web, television and even advertising content for cinemas... and, of course, documentary.
Operating either as a single person crew, or a crew of two or three, Studio20 can seemlessly integrate with larger production crews and can access a pool of talent for larger projects.
Some numbers from a recent shoot:
We offer 4k output from ProRes 4:2:2 multi-camera recordings through prime or zoom lenses under a variety of natural, LED or tungsten sources. Time spent on lighting and composition contributes to quality cinematic work.
Stereo ambient recording. Shotgun and lavalier microphones for dialogue & interviews with digitial mixing; boom pole, blimp & windshield for outdoor work.
When field recordings lack the quality of a carefully controlled studio environment we can remove unwanted noise and make enhancements, adding effects or music, with library or custom compositions, as required.
We plane, train, hike and four-wheel drive throughout Australia and internationally. We enjoy the challenge of creating work of stunning beauty with minimal equipment. We're creative, good-humoured, experienced risk-managers (with $10m of public liability insurance), resourceful in the field and always up for a challenge.
Frequently an after-thought, stills photography is an important adjunct to any video work. Stills offer much higher resolution and editing potential than a screen grab and serve as a useful platform to promote a project via web, media packages or as part of a pitch.
We can timelapse, hyperlapse, drone, gimbal, slide, crane, tripod and shoulder.
Parkes Radio Telescope, Australia
At sunset it is not too hard to see why this dish is said to be the most beautiful in the world. At 64 metres in diameter its large collecting area concentrates weak and distant natural radio transmissions to the focus. From here they are amplified and radio maps of the night sky are created.
Giant Quart Crystal, Florence
This crystal is about a handspan wide. When cut and subjected to an electric potential it will flex. This so-called piezo-electric effect allows the crystal to be used as an extremely accurate clock controlling frequency stability in transmitters and receivers and a host of other applications.
